About Me

Welcome to the Infusion Studios 3D Visualization blog! A bit about myself, my name is Samuel Conlogue and I began working in 3D graphics in 2000, since that time I have worked on projects ranging from broadcast television and architectural visualization to book cover illustration and industrial visualization. I work out of a small studio called Infusion Studios, just outside the beautiful city of Portland Maine alongside friend and co-founder Russ Sprague. I love my work and the continuous cycle of learning and adaptation as the CG industry develops at an incredible rate. I am passionate about 3D visualization and always strive to create the best visuals I can for my clients while keeping my process cost effective, timely and inclusive.

So what’s this blog about? Well, after benefiting so much from other 3D blogs out there I thought perhaps I could offer up some tidbits of my own as time allows while also featuring some of my recent work and observations. Over time I hope to post a series of comprehensive, interesting and above all helpful tutorials and making-of videos covering various aspects of 3D visualization / animation / VFX. As plentiful great 3D tutorials are these days there are still many dark neglected corners of our industry. Not to mention our tool sets are changing constantly and in profound ways providing many new topics to cover.
